I had Boxers for most my adult life and new about their personality and mannerisms, but had never really studied the standard and type until we had Lucy. She was AKC papered and purebred with Champion bloodlines so I was really excited. I joined our local kennel club and began taking her to puppy classes and then conformation classes. She earned her CGC right after graduating from puppy school.
Lucy is responsible for me sitting at the computer on hours looking up pedigree info. I wanted to know who the Champions were and just how many, don't ask me why I just did.. That lead me back to Annette Clark, Livvi Christiansen and Eric Christiansen who I had met years earlier and they helped me learn the difference between "AKC Papered/CH Bloodlines/Purebred" and Health Tested and multiple CH in the bloodline means and how it can effect offspring and the breed overall.
